Here's How it Works
Step One - Consultation
Every project begins with a consultation to discuss your project. We can meet at your home and you'll have the opportunity to tell me about your ideas for your space, as well as any concerns you may have about the functionality and logistics. You can share any concept images, Pinterest boards, or Houzz Ideabooks that you've created so I can get a better idea of your style. Finally, we'll discuss budget and timeline to ensure that the project is a success. If it seems like a good fit, then as a follow up to the consultation I will provide a proposal for services and a schedule to move forward.
Step Two - Conceptual Design
I will go to work pulling together precedent images, color schemes, potential material samples, and study potential space plans. We'll set up another meeting so we can review any of these options as well as a mood board and any other initial thoughts that will help define the flavor of your new space.
Step Three - Design Documentation & Specifications
Once we decide on a space plan and design direction then I will complete the necessary drawings and specifications to hand over to a contractor to price and review. At this stage I can work with the contractor of your choice or I can make recommendations on great vendors and tradespeople that I have worked with in the past. If we are also selecting furniture I will finalize the furniture and accessory specifications and complete an estimated budget so we can begin purchasing.
Step Four - Final Product
I'll be with you as needed through the final stages of construction and installation. When the dust has settled and it's time to move in I'll coordinate the furniture delivery and installation with professional furniture movers.
